Become a Study Shack Mentor

We are always keen to hear from motivated A-Level students who enjoy helping others learn and succeed.​ Study Shack mentors support GCSE students through structured group sessions, helping them revise effectively, practice exam questions, and build confidence in their subjects. Mentors explain concepts clearly, share practical revision strategies, and create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions.

The role is ideal for students who:

• Have achieved Grade 8s or 9s in the GCSE subjects they wish to mentor (Maths, Chemistry, Physics and Biology)

• Are currently studying A-Levels

• Are reliable, patient, and encouraging

• Enjoy working with younger students

• Are looking for paid work or volunteering opportunities
